Privacy Policy
Effective June 3, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how JAGALX (“JAGALX”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the JAGALX platform, websites, and mobile apps (the “Service”). It should be read together with our Terms of Service.
Our two roles
JAGALX is a multi-tenant platform used by trade-contractor businesses (“Customers”).
- As a controller: for account, billing, and website information about our Customers and their staff, this Policy describes how we handle that data.
- As a processor: for the information a Customer’s business processes about its own customers and prospects (e.g. callers, leads), the Customer is the controller and is responsible for the lawful basis, notices, and consents. We process that data on the Customer’s behalf to provide the Service. If you are an end customer of a business using JAGALX, please direct privacy requests to that business.
Information we collect
- Account & workspace data: name, email, company name, role, password (stored hashed), and configuration you set.
- Customer Data you submit: contacts, leads, jobs, estimates, addresses, and similar records you and your team enter.
- Call & messaging data: phone numbers, call recordings and transcripts (recorded with a spoken disclosure), and SMS/email message content sent or received through the Service.
- Integration data: data exchanged with connected services you authorize, such as calendar events and accounting/invoice data.
- Usage & device data: log data, IP address, and basic analytics used to operate and secure the Service.
How we use information
- To provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
- To power AI features — answering calls, drafting messages, classifying, extracting, and summarizing — using the providers listed below. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use customer call/message content to train third-party foundation models for other customers.
- To process payments and usage-based billing.
- To communicate with you about the Service, including verification and security notices.
- To comply with law and enforce our Terms.
Calls, recording, and text messages
When enabled by a Customer, inbound and outbound calls may be recorded and a disclosure is played. Automated text messages are sent only where the recipient has consented; recipients can reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. The Customer that operates the line determines what messages are sent and is responsible for consent and compliance.
Service providers (subprocessors)
We share information with vendors that help us run the Service, including:
- Twilio — telephony, call recording, and SMS.
- Anthropic — AI language processing.
- ElevenLabs and Deepgram — voice synthesis and speech-to-text for calls.
- Google — calendar sync, maps/geocoding, and sign-in where used.
- Intuit QuickBooks — accounting and invoicing, when you connect it.
- Email delivery provider — transactional and notification email.
- Cloud hosting & storage and error-monitoring providers — to host the Service, store files, and detect issues.
These providers process data under contractual obligations consistent with this Policy. We may also disclose information to comply with law, enforce our Terms, or protect rights and safety, and in connection with a merger or acquisition.
Retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, then for a limited period to comply with legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. After account termination, Customer Data is available for export for a limited time, after which it may be deleted. Customers can also delete records within the Service.
Security
We use technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit, encryption of sensitive secrets at rest, tenant isolation, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. For data we control, contact us at [email protected]. For data processed on behalf of a Customer, contact that business; we will assist them in responding.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
International
We operate in the United States; if you access the Service from elsewhere, your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S.
Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email, and the effective date above will be updated.
